FREE Women's Self Defense Class

The Sanilac Area Violence Elimination Council is sponsoring another Ladies Self Defense Class on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the Lexington United Methodist Church.

Class instructor Henry Reyna from Secure Solution will teach the top 10 things every woman should know about personal safety. The class is about 3 hours long and includes a focus on the importance of being alert and aware.

Each participant will also practice several techniques to escape holds and self-defense moves to use if attached. All attendees should wear comfortable shoes and clothes that will allow them to actively participate. The class is free, however, is limited to 30 participants and registration prior to the evnt is required.
